Mrs. Lisa, I would just like to tell you how honored I am to receive Laci's award. It means the world to me to know that she looked up to me as a dancer. She was so talented and was such a hardworker, I saw her literally improve everyday. I just wanted to tell you that she has inspired me so much this past year, through dance and in my life. When I would go to dance class, I wanted to dance twice as hard for her. I would say to myself, "If Laci can't be here to dance, I'll dance for her." She was such an inspiration to me as a person as well. She had such a kind heart and it was contagious, even now. She makes me want to be a better person everyday.

Everytime we performed "If Heaven" I could feel her dancing with us. I was so sad the last time we performed the dance because I felt like it was the last time I would get to dance with her. I realized that that wasn't true. She will be there every time I dance. Just like, I asked for her help with my solo for the last revue and it was the best time I had performed it! 

This award means more to me than any award that I have ever received. It is so special to me and I will cherish it forever. It was an honor being able to dance with Laci in Select and get to know her. I hope she knows that I have always looked up to her for her hard work, dedication and love for dance. She'll always be in my heart. I love y'all. Close

Just want to tell you how I have come here from time to time and have been touched by Laci's story.  It is such a shocking and sudden loss to a rare medical situation, like ours.  I keep you in my thoughts often, because Laci's beautiful face, her smile, is something that stays with you!
